Hugh Hallman with Tempe Boy Scouts Dylan Wynne, Kyle Waters, Anthony Ellis and Franklin Andre. Hugh has been actively involved in scouting, including his long-time service as Den Leader.


Hugh with some of the more than 100 volunteers who helped collect more than 2,000 signatures to qualify Hugh for the ballot.


Hugh helping dig irrigation ditches on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in a program to help the reservation build a community garden and teach local school children indigenous farming techniques. He did this on his own and not in his capacity as Mayor.


Hugh participating in the annual Picnic in the Park, Tempe's neighbor day celebration. He is helping a little boy pitch bean bags for prizes and helping the police department raffle donated items to benefit the neighborhood. In the third picture, Hugh is with Karen Kallas, a neighborhood volunteer.
